Default Truth about body fat and THC retention?

Hi everyone

Got a test coming up for work sometime (maybe this week, maybe next, not sure), and I've noticed some conflicting info regarding this subject.

First off, I'm a little over 6ft. and weigh only somewhere in the 120-130 range, and thus no body fat. I'd been a chronic smoker up until I began trying to get this job, whereafter I quit for a month or a little over, got the job, and then began the waiting process for the test which never came until now (after a little over a month.) Problem is, I've smoked on and off during this time, mainly because I got tired of waiting for their damn test, and I've worked for this place before and knew they were spotty about actually getting around to doing their tests. The last time I smoked was on the 25th.

Now, that said, I've seen several things on various sites saying that a person as skinny and lacking of fat as I am has little to worry about, as these people lack the fat in which THC metabolites store themselves. My question, is this true? Similarly, I've seen a few other sites saying it doesn't make a difference.

I plan on diluting anyway, but it'd certainly ease my mind a bit to know whether or not this skinniness is improving my chances in any way (hey, it'd be the first time it has).

Let me say, it helps ... but it does not make you safe. No matter how skinny you are you have body fat. Unless you are currently getting skinnier than you have been recently then you are getting most of your day to day energy from the food you eat, therefore meaning you are not burning (getting rid of) the stored fat your body has, which contains the THC metabolites. Even weighting 130lbs. and having (for the sake of example we'll give you a BF % of a ripped up body builder which I'm sure you don't have) 5% BF, you still have nearly 7lbs. of fat on you. A pound of fat is close to the size of your head. So you may be skinny but you have plenty of body fat in you to store things in. No matter how skinny you always have plenty, because you need it to live. BTW 5% BF means you also are weak and get light headed easily. It's not a BF most people can maintain for any length of time as it takes strict diet and lots of cosmetic cardio. If you are skinny person, and I mean skinny skinny, you likely have around 8-10% BF.

Basically I'm just saying don't think it means you are in the clear, but you can have a little feeling of assurance knowing that it will help your chances.

If I were a betting person, I would bet on you passing. Purchase a home test and then you will know. You can stop by the drug store anytime and buy them or WalMart, wherever. Body fat or not, weighing only 130 lbs and being over 6 ft. tall is definetly working for you. It all depends on the "on and off" type of smoking you did over the past month. The term "on and off" can mean every other day to some or once a week to others.
