|  Lab question I have a question, I am doing a test for a city and they sent the specimen to a lab in kansas.. sealed.. etc... I couldnt find any information about the lab sadly, but im HOPING they test it at 50ng... their policy says they test at 100ng then GCMS at 15ng if its positive.. but 100ng is real high isnt it?? Do most labs do 50ng for the first test? If its a typical Urine test for a city employement.. thanks |

| Common immunoassay tests have a 50 ng/ml cutoff. Common GC/MS tests have cutoffs at 15 ng/ml. Because of the different things being measured (31 THC metabolites for immunoassay, 1 THC metabolite for GC/MS) the two thresholds are functionally equivalent.
