Here is my situation. I accepted a position at a Fortune 50 company. Very well paying job. I took a drug screening on 3/17. The "formal" job offer came today and the HR lady said my sample came back "dilute". Here is the series of events:

Between 6am and 7am on 3/17, I drank 3 20oz bottles of gatoraide and took 4 aspirin and 1 B2 vit. Took a shower and got dressed. Drank another 10oz glass of water before leaving at 8:10am. I didn't take my screening until 9:15am. Think I peed 3-4 times before the screening. I was only able to load on creatine for 2 days prior to my test.

I took a First Check home drug test from CVS today at 4pm. Has a cutoff of 50 ng/ml Got a pretty solid T line. It has been 9 days since I smoked last. Have not been a heavy smoker in months (maybe a couple times a week on average). I did not do any dilution before taking the home test. Just followed my normal routine today. I have been taking creatine since Wednesday this week (about 1-2 teaspoons per day). The Creatine is from GNC (powder) and says "Creatine Monohydrate" on the bottle. Hope its the right stuff.

I have to re-take the screening on Monday morning. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sub is the only way to go, so much easier than diluting.

Keep loading creatine. 2 days probably was not long enough for it to have helped. This time it'll help.

ALSO:
Try using Gatorade (adding salt will help even more) for ALL the fluid you drink when preparing. Like Gatorade, Rolaids/Tums will also help to keep the specific gravity up.
12 hours before the test take 3 or 4 aspirin. Continue to take the normal recommended dose (or up to 3 or 4) every 4 hours up till test time.
STUDY FOR YOUR TEST. Read as much of the dilution threads as you can.

Thanks for the reply. I did a home test today (50 cutoff) with my first void of the day. Got a very faint line, but it was there. I think some mild dilution will do the trick. I am going to perform some experiments tomorrow with 4 home tests I got today. Going to see how many Gatoraides it takes to get a nice solid line on the home test. I will post the results tomorrow.

Once again tested myself with my first pee of the day. Negitive with a faint "T" line. Used a different brand of test (still a 50 cutoff) that has a slighty larger window. The "T" line is easily seen.

Sure you passed, but if you had some Urine validity strips you could see "how Diluted" you were too. Just something to keep in mind, I feel more secure knowing I have some of those test strips now.

Well it was my first pee of the day, so I didnt drink anything before hand. So I shouldn't be diluted at all. I am going to drink 2 20oz bottles of Gatoraide over a 3 hour period before the test to be "well hydrated" tomorrow

I just took yet another home test. I drank a 20oz bottle of Gatoriaide 3 hours ago (right after my first pee of the day test). Solid "T" line, negitive. I am just trying to get a feel of how much I should drink to get a nice solid line in the"T" area. Looks like I am pretty much there.

BTW, there Home Tests are by First Check. Got them at Wal Mart. They seem pretty good, nice large viewing window. Very easy to read.
