I have been clean for 2 months. Before that, I had a break from oct to jan. I am 23 5'5 and 230 lbs. I have been increasing my water intake for the past 3 weeks. The lab took the "morning piss" it was a lil dark. I am nervous as hell because my employer left me a message today to call her Monday and I took the test on Wed. 4-5-06. Should I be worried?

You probably are going to be ok. The thing NOT in your favor is your weight -vs- your height. You are packing a few more than average fat cells containing the THC. The fact that you are "2 months clean" is a great insurance policy. 90-95% chance you are negative.

Hopefully the HR person only wants to discuss a start date and orientation with you.

You didn't say how much water you drank the morning of the test, but if your urine was "kinda dark" then I am fairly confident you won't be diluted.

Thank you for your advice, the water was about 10 8 oz cup of water at the test site because I had no time because they wanted the first morning whiz. I made love to the water fountain, but since it was the whiz classified as the dirtest and had been collecting overnight, I'm worried that it collected some old THC. I have been so despirate I even tried to log into LabCorp to retrieve my results. I also have been taking a prescription diet pill called adipex and I read that these type of thing can cause a false positive. If this is the case plus some THC can I blame it on the pills and if given another test what can I do to insure a negative result...Still nervous as HELL!!!!

No, you cannot blame a positive THC on a diet pill. Most diet pills will test positive for amphetamines, not THC. All you would be doing there is compounding the problem.

Thanks for the clarification. On a scale of 1 to 10 excluding all factors except time (2 HONEST clean months) what are my chances on a negative test? What really makes me nervous is the fact it was the "morning whiz" and why my employer would call me before I summitted my other forms such as TB Test, college and HS transcript, etc. Monday is full of fear for me.. All the websites and others say it takes a month to 45 days, it has been 60+ a couple for me, will that xtra 15 days be a up for me. Sincerely, Nervous!!

You are about 95% worried for a 5% probability that you would have problems on the results of your drug test. That is a bit disproportionate. Relax. You should only be about 5% concerned.

The employer may want to schedule orientation, clarify paperwork, go over your pay schedule, review your responsibilities, there are a number of reasons OTHER than the drug test to visit with you on Monday.

Relax and put the drug test out of your mind. Especially DO NOT mention it to the HR person on Monday.

Yo, Let me tell you... I was on pins and needles yesterday because I called the HR @ 8am and she was not in and I called @ noon and 4pm and still no answer. So I went out and when I returned she had left me a message saying we had been playing phone tag and she would give me a call tomorrow.... So..... another day of the wait and worry game. This morning I gave her a call @ 8am and guess what she wanted....... A psychological test ... I was so releaved... I hope I have a positive mental status, since thought I had negative urine status. Well you guys I will update you on my potential job offer, and for the record I am going to have to let MJ go, yes it is fun but not worth the risk or worry of a job offer, I have a college education that cost too and took up too much time to sacrifice over a $dimebag$ and I plan to get my "PhD".Plus I had way more than my fair share of time with MJ. Thanks for the comfort and advice during my time of frustration. Sincerely,
