| Hey everyone. I had to take a test yesterday (Friday), and it was one of the instant test that they dip a piece of paper (looked like those litmus strips) in the urine and it tells you if they have anything in your system. Anyway, she put the paper in and it said the second line didn't come up for THC and they need to send it to the lab. Oh crap! I've taken around 7 or 8 drug tests in my life (all for jobs), and passed everyone thus far. I usually use Zydot (which I did again) as it has worked everytime for me and a lot of friends. Last time (in December) I used Vale, and it worked. I know a lot of people don't think they work (or work well enough). In the past, I have continued to smoke up until they day of the test and still had good results (younger and dumb). This time it was a surprise, and I quit 3 days before (ahhhh). A friend of mine also quit 3 days before, but he took Vale, and he passed (the THC line was barely visible, but good enough). Anyways, my question is how reliable are those instant test compared to the ones they do in the lab. I feel I had enough masking substance in my body to cover up, but I am still freaked out a bit. Thanks! Mitchy |

| Detox products, when they work, work because of the ingredients that boost creatinine, boost specific gravity, add color, and the dilution that comes from drinking a lot of water with them. They are far more expensive and less reliable than the dilution protocols we recommend on this site. They often don't work because the manufacturers make exaggerated claims. In general, it takes 48 hours of abstinence for dilution protocols (like so-called detox products) to be effective in preventing a positive test result. Dilution and aspirin-- the technique DILUTION: tips, tricks and guidelines from N2 Substitution techniques always work, but take some practice and can't be used in a closely observed test.
