| So I get the call, I go to the interview, I get the second call, I land the job...but wait, a what...yep they want a medical. What exactley does a medical intail? And have any of you heard of a solution called Plantinum, a drink you take 1-5 hours before you have to pee? I am not in a sensitive saftey position, and the medical clinic may want my pee...do they have to specically be checking for drugs in order to detect it? I was an active smoker 3 weeks ago. I took this course and had 5 days of no smoking, I had about 2 joints split between myself and another over 3 days and then found out I got this awesome job oppertunity. I'm freak'n out, so I started working out on sat. went snowboarding on sun. and it's been 5 full days of no smoking. I'm about 5ft 5, 125-130 lbs and I want this job!! Any advise, any info, any solution to my situation please let me know.... Thank you before hand for all your help. |

| Same old advice: Test yourself using a home test. Then you will know where you stand. Purchase the home tests at a major drug store chain, at a drug testing facility or off the internet. Test yourself using the first urination of the day. If positive, then try the dilution techniques in this forum and test yourself again. If still positive, you will need to be creative about how to substitute during a physical exam. If you test negative with the first pee of the day, you have no worries. Read all about it here in this forum. Usually a "medical" entails an employment physical which might or might not include a drug test. It's best if you know if you need to dilute or not before you go in for the medical. That way, IF the employment physical DOES include a drug test, you are prepared. |
