| I am 6ft1 290 lbs slow metabolism casual smoker about once a week. I had an incident at work the other night with a fork truck. Me and everyone else is ok just some minor property damage. The company policy is to immediatly drug test in-house after any accident/incident. I was immediatly taken to the nurses station for an observed test. My supervisor performed the test. The nurse only work on day shift. I was sure I was about to get fired. My only hope was the company will take you to a walk-in clinic to get tested by a Dr. if they get a positive. I was planning on trying to use the excuse that there is no way i can pee again with out something to drink. I was hopeing I could get a large bottle of gatorade on the way to the clinic. I peed in the cup then had to wait what seemed like an hour, but im sure it was only a coulpe of minutes. Then my supervisor said "ok you good to go". At first only the word "go" registered and I was about to start declaring my innocence when it sank in "good to go back to work". My question is how did I pass? I had smoked only 3 nights before. I dont know exactly what kind of test it was some sort of dipstick test. Am I just lucky or did my supervisor look the other way?
