| I've been reading on the web ALL KINDS of ranges for detection in urinalysis testing so this is why I'm asking here for advice. Am 5'5", 160 lbs, "normal" metabolism (and am not an exerciser due to work schedule) Smoked daily for many months until mid-Feb. Then just a couple times a week for about two weeks, week off, then once or twice a week (with left-over stems/resin) at night until third week of March. I have a EMIT test (50-level) for Govt job in mid-May. I have not smoked/ingested ANYTHING since March 27th (and have now quit forever due to pending job). So it will be 49-50 days since any ingestion by test day. I am going to start exercising today and also start with Cranberry juice. Also will order test kits. Can anybody give me any kind of reassurance (hopefully) that this amount of time will enable me to pass the test? And any advice as to what to eat between now and a few days before test day would be appreciated. Should I go for very low fat but still enough calories to keep the metabolism rate up and then switch to fatty foods a few days before? Any info is much appreciated. |

| I think you will be fine. Home testing will give you a good answer. If you are failing the home tests with your first part of the first mornings urine at the 30 day mark I would then start the dilution regimen. As you stated keep up exercising and then a few days before the test stop and store up on fatty foods and lay around. Good luck, 29 ![]() |
