I've been trying to figure out if I'm a "heavy" user or not. Smoked 1/2 ounce a month for a year 'til mid-Feb of '06. Test in mid May. Is 1/2 ounce a month a heavy user? Thanks for any input.

I'd say no since I smoke a half every day or two . Really it's judged on how often you smoke in days, like an everyday, or multiple times a day smoker would be a heavy smoker.

You smoke a 1/2 oz. every day??? I don't know if I would call it heavy, but sure would be expensive. Even if you grow your own, you must have an expensive utility bill

If I smoked a half OZ every couple of days I know I would be on the couch everyday and on top of the leader boards on X-Box live

I wouldn't be able to work, that is for sure. Don't think I could get off the couch to get any thing to drink for dilution. Not to mention try to get to the drug testing location.

So here's another question, then. Smoked every day during that year-long time period (1/8 a week) til mid Feb. Then have had probably the equivilent of two to three joints TOTAL (at the most -- mostly with resin, tho I do realize THC is THC no matter what form) from mid Feb until March 20th. Will be about 53 days totally clean for my test when it "hits." Can't do the aspirin because it's not EMIT (it's RIA) and GC/MS. Have been exercising now and cleaned up my diet (and have lost about three pounds in the last week) -- average metabolism. Store fat in my hips but no "gut" and don't have a "wide load" so not really heavy but still need to lose about 15 lbs. Do plan on doing the home tests, just trying to get "mind assurance." What's my chance of passing if I keep up the exercising four days a week (also am packing every day for move which is better than just the normal sitting around that I used to do) and tkeeping with the clean diet (and continuing to abstain, of course). Anyone got some "uplifting" words for me? As you can tell, I'm the paranoid type -- and this is, as so many have said before, a dream job.

The best advice given in this forum is to buy a couple of home tests and test yourself using the first void of the day. If you pass that test, you will pass any test.

Next, Forget how to pass a drug test, I want to know how everyone gets their "dream job". I've worked a lot of different jobs from minimum wage to over $32 per hour. None were my dream job. Where do I find a dream job? I now have my dream boss,
but I wouldn't go so far as to say this is my dream job. Please help ASAP.

It's been almost 30 days since you last smoked and in the preceding 30 days or so you only smoked two joints. I bet if you were tested tomorrow you would pass with flying colors. THC metabolites are supposed to be present in your urine for up to 30 days. Usually though people will "pee clean" in far less than 30 days from the last time they smoked, especially if they are only occasional smokers, as you were from mid February till March 20th. I've had to take drug tests myself in the past, but it's been twenty years since my last one. I'm a criminal defense attorney and a former member of our local drug court committee so I have worked with a lot of people subject to drug testing. I've never heard of anyone testing hot for THC metabolites on a urine test after 50+ days of abstinence. I've heard a few people who tested hot try to argue that they hadn't smoked in a little more than 30 days, but I suspect most if not all of these people were lying. I've also heard of a lot of people passing after just a few days of not smoking and from what I have heard and what I have read I believe that scenario is far more likely than people testing hot after not smoking for 30 days or more.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. You are doing exactly what you need to do. Just continue to abstain. If it would make you feel more comfortable, pop on down to the drug store and buy a home test. My bet is that you would pass today if you took one of those tests.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, COMMONSENSE!!!!! I just am hyper-paranoid about this (obviously). Trust me, I will be abstaining from now until the end of my working days (this has been a hellish mental thing to go through). I'm giving you (and the people who made this site) a HUGE energy hug right now! This site is SO valuable -- wish I'd thought to look for it back in early Feb!! Thanks again

Your dream boss must learn to treat you better and not work you so many hours. To find your dream job with the dream boss you must go back to sleep and continue dream. The best way to do that is DON'T SMOKE DOPE or you will fail your dream drug test that you give yourself. You can't sub if you are watching yourself. If this doesn't make sense to you please don't ask me to explain it. I can't If you smoke in your dreams you WILL fail. I read that somewhere and I had a friend that failed and only smoked in his dream twice. So the bottom line is if you want your dream job. Keep dreaming but don't smoke.
