Hey, i used the dilution method and abstained for 23 days and hopefully have passed my pre-emp drug test that was mailed to labcorp to be processed. I took the test on a saturday, it is thursday now and I have recieved no phone call yet from anyone saying it came up positive or dilute so I am hoping for the best. My job does not actually start for another month and a half and I doubt that if I passed the test my employer would bother telling me. So my question is...When would it be safe to start smoking it up again, and also, if my sample was marked as dilute, would it be my employer or labcorp that would call me and tell me?

First off: My advice would be to call labcorp and ask for your results. Annoy them until they tell you. If that doesnt work, call your employer and ask them some random question like "what time do i start, where do i go, etc". Then after that, throw in a question like "are all my preliminary initiatives taken care of?"

Shit man.. if your job doesnt start for a month and a half, why did they test you now??

That makes me real nervous. I stopped smoking 25 days ago, planning on taking a test either 5 weeks or 7 weeks later. However, I smoked today for 420 (a lot wihtin like an hour). I wont be home from college until the 29th. They have not told me about a drug test yet, but im assuming they will drug test me before i start as it is a state internship.

The kicker is im going on vacation a week after i get back. Do you think they'll contact me in that week when i get back for a test? If they do, that'll only give me about 10 days from today. If they dont, that gives me roughly a month, which i think well get me clean.

I got tested now because the job im getting is an internship. I, like you, had initially assumed that since the job didnt start until june 1 i wouldnt be tested until sometime around then, however, i failed to realize that these internships are competitive and have to be arranged well before they start, so when they told me in march i was going to be drug tested sometime in april i very surprised/pissed/scared/annoyed. Lab corp won't tell me my results and I know that other than my piss test all of my other pre-emp requirements have been taken care of so asking the person again the same question would look suspicious and I dont want that...anyone got anymore advice to my initial question?
