I recently took the Peace of Mind home drug test that i purchased from my local Wal-Mart. It tested for THC, Opiates, Cocaine, Meth, and Extacy. It's a 5-minute cup test where you dip the applicator in your the urine sample. Your results are negative if a pink line appears next to the name of the tested drug.

Here's my concern. All all of the results came back negative almost instantly except for THC which took, in my opinion, more time than the test called for, approximately 8 minutes. Finally a very verry very faint pink line appeared next to THC. Does this mean that I will fail my lab test which I have to take at a lab within 72 hrs? I would imagine that the lab tests are more comprehensive in detection methods.

I am about 6-5, 250lbs and probably have average to low metabolism. It has been about 66 days since I last smoked where I only took like 5-6 hits of some good bud. Before that it had been like 3months since I toked where I then only had about 5-6 hits of some medium bud. Shouldn't abstaining for 66 days count for something?

Do I have anythign to worry about when I go in to take the lab test this week? Is it normal for the THC line to come up slowly and appear faint?

Well, on the home test I took, results took about 8-10 minutes for me, and I got a faint pink link as well, however, this drug test allowed me to send my urine to their labs and it came back negative as well... So that means the home tests are pretty accurate, especially if its the first urine of the day..

Also, youve been clean for 66 days? Thats enough for a chronic every day smoker to get clean..

Hey thanks for sharing yor experience...I think i'll take one more home test today before I go to the lab on tomorrow. I feel a little more comfortable about my odds now. Oh yeah, I would also like to add that this will be my first test unadultered test in like 6yrs!! I couldn't deal with the stress with substitution and don't trust the online detox prodcts.

Oh and I've been clean for 67 days now!!! Can't wait to get this test over with so that I can partake again and again and again...it's been rough but i didn't want to take any chances you know...Hopefully I'll have a fatty of that sweet sweet cheeba rolled up by Thursday or Friday!! I'lll follow up with my next home test and lab test results...Maybe this post will help build confidence of those not-so-chronic chiefers who have taken a break for a while and still are a lil nervous. L8R!

Dude,
Basically you were clean for three months, smoked one day, then clean again now for 67 days?
You have NOTHING to worry about! You've probably had clean urine for the past 8-9 weeks!
You're carrying a very nice insurance policy with yourself, so to speak. Most people awaiting a piss test would kill to have your situation.
Relax, let any worries you have about this wash away like silt....

Good news. A faint line is still a negative. On top of that, on average a person loses half their load of THC metabolites every 36 hours. In 72 hours you should be carrying approximately one-quarter what you had when you took the home test.
