Need some advice from some people. Awesome site by the way, it has been very helpful.

Anyways, I just took a test about 1/2 hour ago. Before I went into the test I took 2 home test before and both came up clean. I am sure that I will come up clean, bit the one thing that worries me is the dilution factor-- How does that work? my piss was yellow (because I took some vitamins before) so I feel as if my sample will be considered good, but I am still nervous or paranaid about it.

heres what I did- I drank plenty of water gatorade, the couple days leading up to the test. the day of I woke up drank 1/4 bottle of gatorade, followed by a full glass of water. I did this around 10:00 am. Pissed several times after at about 11:45 I drank a ready cleanse detox drink waited 15 minutes and followed that up with a refill of the bottle with water. left to go take the test, like I said earlier I tested 2 times with a home kit. I parked across the street at a McDonalds and pissed in the cup provided with the kit, brought it back the car and tested it. (did this on 2 seperate pisses) both turned up neg, so I was pretty confident--went into the test pissed in the cup and that was that--it was fairly yellow piss.

Again my question, do I have anything to worry about as far as the dilution of the piss? Or do you think I should be ok?

What kind of test do most places use? And do these test, test the dilution or I guess its called Gravity of your piss...please help me.

Besides looking at drug residues, tests look at specific gravity and creatinine levels. If these fall below certain ranges, the sample is considered to be diluted. Dilution protocols boost specific gravity and creatinine levels to compensate for the dilution. Urine color is a distant third to these two considerations.

Dilution is a balancing act. You want to dilute the concentration of THC metabolites in your urine without diluting so much that your sample is ruled "negative, dilute".

It sounds like you should be OK - negative results on the home tests and not too much dilution add up to a negative on the real test.

If they run a test similiar to the home test I took I should be fine, does the other test, look for dilution? What test will they most likely run? Thanks Again

Typically they will run an immunoassay test similar to the home test plus tests for specific gravity and creatinine to check for dilution.

Immunoassay tests are only 99% accurate, so in the event of a positive result your sample will be sent for GC/MS testing to confirm it. GC/MS doesn't yield false positives.
