Im really worried sick about my situation, and the bad part is that it's all my fault why this is happening. Im 5'6, 140 male with a super high metabolism. I literally lose a few pounds in one day if i dont eat. For the last few months I have been taking literally ONE puny toke off a one hitter per night every night. Such a small hit that barely any smoke even came out, but that tiny amount got me high. My last single toke off a one hitter was monday night. I got a surprise call about a job yesderday afternoon, (tuesday) so obviously i didnt take a hit yesderday. In panic, i went out and bought a phamatech drug testing kit for thc, and last night I supposedly passed with a VERY faint line, two lines on the test. So that toke was evidentally mostly out of my body somehow according to the test. This morning (wednesday) i went in for the interview, did very well, then he told me to hit the rehabilitation center to do some physical strength tests, and to take a drug test. Panicking, i went straight home and called the guy telling him I suddenly got very sick. He told me to call him back this week, thurs or friday if i really want the job, and to go take the test. I really need this job, and im wondering if I started loading on water I would be ok in a couple of days. It would have been 5 days total this friday since ive abstained from weed when i plan to take the urine test since I took my last hit, and the at home drug test said even with a very faint line it was still negative. Please can somebody out there give me some expert advise on whether i should trust that faint line, and that ill be good to test on friday? Its weird that i would be clean after only 5 days, but like i said my metabolism is ridiculously fast and i dont have any body fat. Somebody please help, is dillution on the day of the test the way to go?

and by the way, from what i see it will be a DOT test. I work as a heavy equipment operator.

I am new here and by no means an expert.

But... I have been reading these threads constantly for the past 5 days.
I believe I'm just about finished reading every thread on the board.

From everything you have descibed, you fall into the light smoker & fast matabolism catagory. This catagory has the fastest clean-out time and the best chances of passing.

From all of the advice I have read, the dilute method should work for you.
It has been suggested several times that a person should use their first pee of the day to take an at home test and judging by the results, decide your next course of action.

About the faint T-line... I also have the same concerns.
I'm wondering if these at home dipstick tests have a tendancy to show faint lines even though the sample is positive.

Hopefully someone with greater knowledge on the subject will post up.

hey man i greatly appreciate your reply. You would not believe how much ive spent on those damn home test! at 15 bucks a pop im will over 200 dollars so far. I just cant believe i put myself through this, at least im not the only one. I would really hate to put all my eggs in one basket trusting that at home test, but all i keep hearing is that if there are two lines no matter how faint it is a pass. Its just crazy to me that after only 2 days of not smoking weed its showing that im clear. That just boggles my mind. The scary thing is that ill find out the truth in a couple of days for the real test! Maybe the hard way though, thats very scary. I just love weed so damn much, but unfortunately i may have to give it up for good. Gotta pay the bills ya know?

Two lines on a home test mean a negative regardless of how faint the lines are. Its still a negative.
Home tests are, for the most part, accurate as long as you use the first urination of the day.

My wife has the same smoking history and she had her last onie[ usually 2-3 a night] on a Sun. and Thursday night at about 8 PM she passed a home test, by doing nothing special. So for you I would get a home test and check your self accordingly to see what you need to do.
