This is like my 10th post, i dont care, every time i post all your replies make me feel better.

I have a 35105N SAP 5-50 w/NIT test comin up (50ng cutoff?) I havent smoked in about 2 weeks.

Bought 10 home THC tests. Took one after a week of not smoking, got a faint negative line.

If I get a STRONG negative, (their cutoff is also 50ng), should I take the test with my own piss? Maybe a detox drink for good measure?

My basic question is - does a negative home test imply a negative lab test?

Also, wtf is 'this client requries that split specimens be submitted to lab'

This is the best job i have ever been offered which is why im stressing. that and finals dont help either.

Also, they wont GS/MS it unless i test pos right?

I'd quick fix it, but i dont want to risk all that hassle unless i have a chance of not passing.

BTW everyone who reads these posts and replies kicks ass in my book.

No - many home tests do not test for dilution. You can come up negative on a home test and negative-dillute on a lab test, which requires a re-test.

The collector splits the sample after they take it.

If you do not dilute and get a strong negative line, then you should be ok to use your own urine. Skip the detox drink, drink a sports drink instead.

It is a good indication that you will have a negative lab test, but doesn't guarantee a negative lab test.

The specimen is split into two separate vials as WNB said. The lab tests one and the other is sent to storage. If the tested vial is confirmed positive, the stored vial can be forwarded to a second lab for a second confirmation test. Usually the donor is responsible for payment to the second lab.

Relax. Getting all worried and stressed won't change anything. It just makes you feel worse.

What is more hassle, stressing over using your own urine or using a substitution.

For what it's worth, I think you should be able to pass using your own urine. Maybe for insurance, drink a 20 oz sports drink 1 hour before test time. Good luck.

If you've gone 2 weeks w/o smoking and you can pass the home test, I wouldn't worry as long as the cutoff is the same.

woudlnt drinking the detox drink jsut be 'extra insurance'?

You know the sports drink has electrolytes and salt and stuff in it to help keep your urine normal.

The detox drink may have the same stuff, or, it may not. Depending on the date of manufacture, the brand, etc.. they vary too much to be reliable. Also, there are too many to accurately document their successes because people must drink SOOOO much water with them, one is never sure if it is the water or the drink giving a pass, diluted, or failed result.

What Sec said and also the money issue. Magic drinks are just that, follow the dillution method if you need it or the sub method if you can do it.

I thought a line was a line on a home drug test.

I took a home drug test today, I had a few glasses of water before then but my piss was dark so I'm guessing it wasnt diluted. Anyway I passed it was faint- kind of in between line.
