I am new here and just wanted to try and give a lillte advice and ask a ? at the same time. For the hint I havent heard anyone say anything about houlding your subb in a jock strap. I bought one from walmart that has a pocket to hold the cup. I put both the cup and the bottle in it. I had the pass it kit. The freeze dried powder you mix. (never used it) Keeping it in the jock strap inside the cup kept my temp at 95 to 96 all winter. Now that its hotter in Ohio (yes I love my buckeyes) The bottle stays at 98. I also work out side. Im in and outta of a truck all day.

For the ? I just got this stuff everone here seems to love Quick fix. Can I run water on it in the morning to warm it up. We used to have randoms in the morning but since the frist of the year they send people to a clinc after work.
So I dont know what they are doing. I used to just fill my bottle with warm water every morning and set it in the jock then it would be 98 when I got to work. I can delay if needed atleast and hour. Thanks for any help. This site is full of good stuff. Its nice to be able to come here and talk to people it worked for cause I can not find anyone saying they passed on the pass it kit.
I was mis lead on so many things. I used to quit just 30 days before the test. I wonder how close I was to failing.

hey there. i just bought quickfix. The best way is to 'prewarm' by sticking it with the cap off, in the microwave for up to 10 seconds. This will get it from room temp to about 96. It also comes with a heat pad, if you dont have a microwave available, which will heat it up to about 100 in an hour.

Quick fix can be heated and reheated multiple times as well.

Some where I tought it was sec3 that posted could be wrong. To not remove the cap it can degrade the sample over time. I swear I read that some where.

You were correct. I got that information from Hawg (another regular). I would just use the heating pad.
You will have time to pee, up to 3 hours. You go into the restroom, activate your heating pad, put the bottle in your jock strap (great idea by the way) and then come out and say you cannot pee right then. They should let you slowly drink water (up to 40 oz) for the next 3 hours. After an hour or so, when the Quick Fix is warm enough, tell the collector you feel you can pee now. Then do your thing. There is no need to heat it up in a microwave. You also should not have to remove the lid that way.

The reason why you should not heat the QF bottle with the cap tight is because the bottle can build up pressure during heating. It is not necessary to completely remove the cap during heating. "Cracking" the cap at half-turn is adequate enough to alleviate pressure. Remember to close back up tight after heating.

Zogob is correct in stating that the QF can be heated and reheated multiple times. Doing so will not harm the effectiveness of the product.

I knew that it could be reheated over and over. I just dont wanna break the seal till I have too.Thats why I was wanting to heat it with warm water. I never tought of putting the not opened heating pad in there. I just dont want them to hear me open it. If I have up to three hours I think the sample will be 98. Im going to wear it tomorrow to work and check it after and hour with no heating pad stuck between the cup and my sack. I was just trying to get a jump so it would be ready as soon as I got there cause I dont get up till one half hour before work haha. Im not going to run water on it if noone else has never tryed it. I think they are swicthing it up till after work any how. Im just a worry wart and try to cover my butt in every way I can. Sec3 I wanna thank you personally I have learned alot from reading your post.

O I wear the jock strap every day in the heat and cold it dose not cause any discomfort even in the heat. For anyone who was wandering.

why wouldnt you just heat it before you go in your house???
