Ok here's the deal. I went in for an interview for a company and they completely blind sided me with a urine test. I just got the voicemail from the doctor and am expecting to take a confirmation GC/MS test probably next week. I'm 5'5, 150 lbs and smoked last night. I dont exercise much daily. Would I be able to flush out my system (or dilute it) in like a week for a GC/MS test? I only ask b/c that test is more specific.

You cannot take a confirmation GC/MS test without first having a screening of the same specimen. If your specimen is not flagged during the screening, it will never see the GC/MS. Read a little deeper into the procedures. The explanations are scattered throughout the forum.

i would try to sub if i was in your position since the test you are taking will test for 15ng/ml. that is a very low amount!

If you are talking about a 15 ng GC/MS test, it is virtually the same as a 50 ng home test.

I'll admit that the truth sometimes hurts, but when it is a cold, hard, unemotional fact, it shouldn't hurt that much. I didn't see any response here as harsh, just factual.

i am in fact in good shape to take my test(mostly from info i found on this forum) i am just surprised at the tone of the regulars on this forum when commenting about others as compared to other forums i am a part of. beleive me i am aware of the realities of the world, i was fired from a job i had for 6.5 years for failing a drug test. (of course that was b4 i found this great forum)

being painfully honest IS necessary when talking about something of this magnitude but dont rip into me because u know slightly more then me and when what i posted, in response to the original question, was accurate.

It is never our intention to sound harsh or "rip into someone" when it is not justified.

When it is obvious that the Original Poster in a thread has not even tried to read the forum to find an answer to his particular question, but instead just posts the question anyway, (as in this case) we tend to get a little exasperated and frustrated. There is plenty of recent information on the testing procedure and especially about the difference between a laboratory "screening" and "confirmation". A person only needs to take the time to look.

In this particular thread however, there was no "harshness" and no one "ripped into" anyone, Hawg just stated a fact.

The reason we are able to speak with the frankness that we do is because this is an adult site and we figure that if you are an adult, you don't need to be coddled. Sugarcoating the answer helps no one.

If you consider that to be "ripping into someone" so be it.

I dont remember trying to offend anyone. All I was doing was passing along info that I picked up from Buzzby, which his full explanation is on here also.
