I took a drug test yesterday. i havnt smoked in at least 2 weeks and i took naturally klean detox pills before the test along with 16oz of water every half hour for three hours right before the test. I pee'd like every 15-20 min for at least 2 hours before the test. I was almost positve that i had passed it because i used naturally klean a few time before and passed with not smoking only for 1 day instaed of two weeks. I just read today on a few websites that ibuprofen can make a false positve in the test and now i'm scared to death because i really need this job, really really need it. I have been taking anywhere from 800-16000mg a day of ibuprofen for a long time now because i have headaches everyday and that is the only thing that doesn't upset my stomach. do you thing i may fail because of that, or was my urine dilluted enough to pass anyway. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

I don't THINK ibuprofen will cause a false positive anymore. There used to be that problem with the older test, but I THINK the testing companies have fixed that problem.

A quick "google" I did says it takes a "large amount" of it to cause a false positive, but GC/MS confirmation can tell the difference between THC and ibuprofen.

thank you for getting back to me. i have heard that they have fixed that problem but was still REALLY nervous. Befor i stopped smocking 5 weeks ago i had been an every day smoker for about 8 years, give or take a day or two. i'm about 5'10" 165lbs really not much fat on me. What do you think my chances for pacing the test is with the info i gave? I really do appreciate anything anyone has to say to me.

I am also nervous because you drank a lot of water before your test. You run the risk of being too diluted and getting a negative or positive dilute result.

You have said that you can pass using your method with only 1-2 days of abstaining from smoking, so that is in your favor. Especially since you say you have 2 weeks behind you. Then you go on to say you quit smoking 5 weeks ago, so I am assuming you were clean for 3 weeks then smoked one time 2 weeks ago. With that history, you have a good chance of passing if you weren't too diluted.

thank you the 5 weeks was a misprint. sorry. the pills i took come with a creatine pill and a b2 pill to help hide the dilution. i really hope it was enough thanks

The B2 had time to do its job but the Creatine needs to be started at least 3 days before the test to be effective.

i made sure that i ate really good for a few days before. especially the night before. LOTS of meat. do you think taht will cover the creatine?
