Who Better?

First off, thanks to all who contributed to the stickys on this page. There is a lot of great info there that has hopefully helped me to pass my test. I had my pre-employment screen yesterday and I am pretty sure I passed. I took a home test the morning of the test and another one right when I got home, both of these came up negative.

I have not smoked in 13 days and before that about twice a week. I work out regularly - about an hour a day 4 or 5 times a week. I used the dilution method on this site except no creatine loading or salt. I drank a gallon of gatorade throughout the day of the test and threw in a Zydot - Ultimate Blend just for piece of mind.

My questions are:

1. Even though both of the at-homes came up negative, is there any chance of failing the actual test? Does the faint pink line mean that there is still a decent ammount in my system? Or do they usually show up faint?

2. Should I call the lab and ask for my results? Or will this arrise any suspicion? Will they give results over the phone like that? Obvisously I am very paranoid. I appreciate any comments.

This would likely occur if some Nazi employer has opted for a screen with a lower cutoff level than your home test. Most home tests sold on the market utilize a 50 ng cutoff limit (for THC) which is the same for DOT tests and is considered the industry standard. Contrary to popular opinion, there is no concrete meaning attributed to color intensity of the lines. It cannot be honest to conclude that a "faint line equals THC levels being at or near the cutoff threshold", because home tests lack the ability to quantify THC levels, unlike a GC/MS test. You would be speculating.
With that being said, any line present in the T reigon is still a line, no matter how faint.
Generally speaking, the person who pays for the drug test gets the first dibs of the test results. If you're sitting at home waiting to be put to work, you can call your employer and ask for your start date. Never inquire about the drug test results. That makes things look bad, especially if youre to assume the mindset of a person who is truly drug free.

A faint line is a negative as far as home tests are concerned. If you did the same thing for your pre-employment test as you did before you took your home test, you should pass.

Just sit back and wait. They will call you when they want you to work or need to talk to you about the test.

Who Better?

Thanks for the responses. I already have a start date that is pending the drug-screen. I guess I will just have to sit back and wait, hopefully my start date gets here before I here anything.
