This site has been INCREDIBLY informative and I wanted to thank all who put in such efforts to help the rest of us out.

I have been doing some research on LIfe Insurance and have been told that I will have to take a urine and blood test at the medical exam. The blood test doesnt bother me because I can get clean for a week before it. I smoke a few times a week and have so for the last 7 years. The REALLY good news is that the exam will probably take place at my home.

My question deals with the test/urine. My wife is 100% clean. If I substitute my urine with hers is there any way they can tell its not mine? Also, she will probably be taking a urine test with the same insurance company a few weeks later. Would they be able to tell the same urine was used?

Nope. They test for drugs, not gender.

Has anybody else heard of an insurance company doing the medical exam at the person's home? It seems a bit odd to me but believe me....I will NOT be complaining if thats how it goes down.

If he asks you to go into the bedroom so he can check you for a hernia, I would be a bit concerned

No, really, at your home they probably just want you to fill out a medical questionaire. There was one poster here a while back who said the Ins. Company came to his home to do a drug test, but I never heard or I can't remember how that came out. You could do a search for it using the keywords: "Life Insurance" or just "Insurance". I don't have the time or interest to do the search for you.
