Here's my story, I want to get a job sometime in June, I have no smoked since May 4th but on saturday my friend is having a huge hotel party and I definitly want to smoke out then. If I stop right after that party (May 27th) when do you think I will be okay for a drug test? Also for anyone who has ever had a job...if I apply and get accepted, how long after do they usually drug test?

Before May 4th I prolly smoked on average once a week. Also, what do you think I should do after I stop to improve my chances..thanks

so you're currently 18 days clean. a once weekly smoker before then. contemplating a one time smoke on day 23 of clean. Hmmmm.....Computing.....
Of course no one can tell for sure. I personally would want to wait at least two weeks before drug testing for a job, unless I had passed more than one home test earlier.
Without home testing, hard to know.

I'm young (still in high school) and has anyone here worked somewhere like Sam's Club, Target, etc. After hiring you when do they drug test you?

you should be in good standing. after you smoke, wait a week and buy a drug test and as always, test the first piss of the day.

i doubt it would take more than a couple weeks.

Okay good, and I haven't even applied anywhere yet, haha, but im asking this again..when you get a job, when you get hired, when do they drug test you?

This is aroblem, because you should be worrying about your future, and not smoking

I care deeply about my future, I make all A's and do awesome in school, so do my smoker friends..and I didn't ask you to say what you thought about my life.

If you have never applied for a job anywhere before, you are probably too young to post on this site. A big clue is that you are STILL in high school. Not that you have graduated this year, so you are at least 17?
