| If someone had a perscription for marinol and was taking it - would that result in a poisitive test? If you had a legal perscrip. wouldn't the company HAVE to hire you? |

| A company never has to hire you unless you can convince a court that you were discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, gender, or ethnicity. If they don't feel like hiring you because you're using a particular prescription drug that's their call.

| Infuriating isn't it? On the 10 panel test they test for anti-anxiety drugs (Prozac, Xanax, etc. which someone would have a legal perscription for) and also THC (which someone could also have a legit perscrip for too). The hypocrisy is maddening. The person with the Xanax prescrip would probably not even get hasseled and the person who'd rather relax the natural way gets screwed. |
