Urine will begin to break down and produce the typical ammonia smell after a few hours at room temperature.

It can be kept for a couple of weeks under refrigeration and up to a year if frozen.

Every once in a while I write something like I did as an example. I hope you don't take it personally. I just like to remind people to try to search before posting. If I do that ever couple of weeks or so, it keeps the reminder fresh on the first couple of pages of the forum and everyone has a better chance to see it. My remarks were directed more towards the general population of this forum. I just used your thread because the time and place were right.

Pretty good random thought. For those first time posters making only comments or giving their experiences, it would also give practice in the search feature.

One problem that I see is that you don't have access to the "search feature" until you are a member. If I am not logged in there isn't any search feature. MOST posters aren't a problem, but every once in a while you get one, that will post and before you can answer has post in 4 or 5 other threads. The closer they are to test time, the more frantic they get. I get pi**ed sometimes, so don't get me wrong on this. Remember we don't HAVE to answer their post. Most of us will though even if it makes us upset. We as helpers like to help. I have been saying to myself for about 3 weeks. "Self (that is what I call myself) take a break from helping the potheds for a while." Then before the day is over, Here I am again. I like it, I like it alot.

There are givers and there are takers. Some just give, some give and take. Some just take and don't come back. Just my thoughts on the subject.
