Hello All... Sec3 if your out there...

So, I took my test today. My first test came out negative diluted and I've been clean for 40 days so I figured I would not dilute whatsoever. I did not take any creatine, no vit B, no asprin, nothing. I've passed 7 home tests, at various times throughout the day - at least 4 have been passed on my first void.

SO. I drank 10 oz of water first thing in the morning, around 9:00AM. Then, before I went to the testing site (around 1:30), I drank another 10 oz, just to stay hydrated. The place is close to my house and by the time I got there (there was no wait), I could barely pee and I didn't produce enough. They told me to walk across the street to Wawa and get some iced tea or lemonade. So, that is what I did, got a 16oz bottle of diet iced tea and downed that, and peed no problem within about 20 minutes.

OF COURSE... me being me... I am paranoid that I diluted it. I didn't eat anything all day with the exception of a few pretzels and a bowl of cereal around 10:00AM. The urine was very light yellow. I can't get another diluted result, I assume this is my last chance.

I know you people might think i'm nuts and I apologize, but could someone tell me if it's possible that I will get a diluted result again from the 26oz total I drank prior to the test (the 10 at home and the 16 of iced tea while I was there)? Oh ... and the "there's nothing you can do about it now" advice will not help my peace of mind....

I will be the first to join your support group! Seeing as though they told you to go and get something to drink...I would think you're going to be fine...I don't think you drank enough to dilute...Where are our residents experts? What do y'all think???

I am not offended, I know I am really paranoid..but I just really truly want to hear what the consensus is about 16oz + 10oz of fluid....

You will get more input before the night is over. Hang in there, it won't be long before you get your results and then you will know for sure.

First of all, I cannot believe they let you, let alone told you, to leave the testing facility. That is so against protocol. Oh well.

You will be fine. You should not have a diluted result from only that much fluid. If you urinated after only 20 minutes of drinking the (whatever it was from the convenience store), that fluid didn't have time to make it through your system and add to your urine output. You did just fine. If you have a diliuted result from only that much fluid, there is something wrong. You will be ok.

What the testing facility should have done, is put you in a room or keep you in the waiting area. They should have allowed you to only drink an average of about 12 ounces per hour for up to 3 hours. Just about everyone is able to go within that time.

I'll say it again: You will be fine!!!

Sec3 .. thank you. It was probably more like 30 min..yeah.. about 30 min.

Now that I think about it, you are right, it does seems like it would be against some sort of protocol to let me leave. I mean.. they told me to walk across the street and get myself some iced tea or lemondade.

So... 16oz in the office... plus 10oz half hour before that... Should be okay?

Thats interesting. For my probation tests, you have to leave if you can't urinate, and come back inside when you are ready. Also, if you have a diluted sample, you are allowed to leave and come back in an hour, and you can go wherever you want.
