Default I have a 'plan of action'

Im 18, male, 155 lbs and about 6 foot with a little extra body fat. I have a pre-employment test coming up and dont know what kind of test I will be given, or if I will be supervised. Another thread said that a majority of pre-employment tests are not observed.

Here is my plan:

Buy fake or powdered urine and heat it up before taking the test, and substitute it in.

On the off-chance that it is observed, I will drink 420 drink. My friend was saying he uses it to pass his work drugtests. Its only a screening drink but he says it works for him. Ive smoked a lot the past 3 days but not very often before then, and Ill have probably at least a week before taking the test during which I dont plan to smoke at all.

Think thatll work? Is there any need to double-up by having a substitute AND drinking the drink in case I have to use my real pee?

How can you have a plan, if you don't know what kind of drug test it is?Without your smoking history and knowing what kind of drug test you are taking it is impossible to help you. YOU don't know what kind of test it is. I don't know if you are aware of it, but there are several kinds of drug test used in pre-employment. They are urine, blood, hair, saliva, and nail. You have a lot of reading and preparing to do.

How am I supposed to know that? Its a small window/door company so I would bet its a urine test since its not the hugest job ever. Ive done a ton of reading on here. Given that I dont know what type of test it is, and urine tests are the most common, how does my plan seem?

sorry for the double post but I just thought of something else. I dont exercise that regularly but have been more recently, should I keep that up or stop a few days before the test, in case I cant substitute and am relying on the screening drink?

Stop all activity about 3-4 days prior to your test.

Why can't you substitute? That doesn't make sense to me. Substitution is easier than dilution. Are you sure this is a pre-employment test?

Well, I had an interview and they said they do a drug test and background check, so if thats not pre-employment.... Substitution is my plan, but I figure theres a very small chance that I might be observed, in which case the 420 drink would be helpful because I definitely need this job.

Just bought my quick fix, heating it up, and I leave in 20 minutes. Ill let ya know how it goes, wish me luck!

Do businesses ever claim to drugtest just to "weed out" (haha) a percentage of employees that do drugs, but not actually test their employees?

I was trained, signed all my paperwork, etc., and tomorrow I go out with the team and start workin. I plan on keeping the QF in my pocket for a few days just in case

Sometimes that happens. A company tested all employees and applicants, then there might have been a change in management and the drug testing was eliminated. The only thing, the management didn't let the supervisors or employees know and/or didn't change the written policies. They just stopped testing.

Not often, but it happens.

figured Id update you all. My coworkers were talking about smoking blunts, so I asked about the drugtest policy. Apparently our boss only does it if it becomes a problem, i.e. youre doing drugs at work or it affects your performance. Now Ive just gotta figure out to do with this bottle of QF that I dont really need anymore....

thanks for the help though, everything on here is really comforting when youre freakin out about shit
