So I havent smoked for four weeks tonight, but I really want to start again. Unfortunately, I am being tested randomly, but luckily, it is only an at-home test. I've done my research and I have come up with a plan and I want to know if it would work if I have smoked in the last 24 hours. I will have about half an hour warning prior to taking the test so I can do anything to prepare that takes 30 minutes or less.

-Dilution (drink a crapload of water...testers actually want me to so they dont have to wait...i doubt creatinine or specific gravity will be tested for)
-Give mid-stream sample (i heard it helps)
-Take four aspirin when I find out I'm being tested
-Eat a lot of fiber so most of the THC goes out when I crap
-Add bleach or vinegar to urine to lower pH and make it negative

Any suggestions or changes? Again, this would be on short notice and to be safe, lets say I have smoked in the last 24 hours.

You just turned 18 and want to know how to pass an "at home test" with only 1/2 hour warning?

The testers want you to drink a crapload of water? why? They can't get an accurate test result if you drink a load of water before your test. Why bother testing you at all?

Is it your parents or guardian that is testing you?

This obviously is not a pre-employment or probation test. No PO would want you to drink that much water prior to testing.

I need more information before posting any advice.

No, its my roommates because they "dont want the liability of rooming with a smoker"

And I know about the 30 minutes/drinking water thing because they tested me a few weeks ago (at that point I had not smoked for a week) and I passed

If your roommates "dont want the liability of rooming with a smoker" is it ethical to force that on them by lying to them? If your place gets busted, they stand to reap some punishment they don't deserve.

Forget it it takes at least72 hrs. to get out of piss test range,however it can stay in your body for up to two years in some cases,like hair samples and stuff like that,but instead of all that insane stuff get other roommates. or quit smoking,you cant blame them for being paranoid but roomies testing roomies, no way,that's way to gay,if your looking for work this would be a good time to stop, companies test for drugs too,mind you these tests are not 100% accurate,you dont want to try to argue that point if you do come up dirty,drink a gallon of water or gatorade or whatever you like,over a 72 hr. period and you will test neg,because you are flushing your system.If all that sounds like too much to handle,then sit back,relax and,spark it.

Actually, 48 hours is the minimum time recommended for trying to beat a UA by dilution.


Hair tests are reliable out to 90 days.


Water doesn't "flush your system". The only things that remove THC metabolites from your system are time and fat-burning exercise. Water/gatorade can be useful right before a UA as a means of reducing the concentration of THC metabolites in your urine, but you have to be careful. If you use too much, without taking special measures, you'll throw your creatinine and specific gravity readings outside of normal ranges and come up with a "negative-dilute" result. When that happens they either fail you or require you to retest.

Please get your facts straight before offering other people advice which could adversely affect their lives.

It is against my standards to give you advice when you are trying to decieve others who (as Buzzby says) are at risk to take on your liability. Either get a place of your own or abide by the rules of the house.

If you don't have respect for your roommates, then you are better off on your own. If you can't afford it, then you can't afford the smoke either.
