Default Are chubby, lazy guys fucked?

I quit smoking for about a 2 years, but recently during the Pistons/Heat playoffs I indulged since I have a good job already and hadn't smoked for such a long time. I didn't anticipate getting a job offer paying me nearly 2.5 times what I make now. I don't know when the test is exactly, but I turned in the app today and the interview won't be until July. The problem is I'm like 5'9, 260lbs., and I tend to live the "TV, Corona, couch lifestyle." I'm thinking it'll be around a month's time since I smoked before I take any test, but the stickies I read have me a little worried since my metabolism isn't exactly fast, and I just took a home test AND FAILED! Its been at least 2 weeks since I last smoked after not smoking for like 2 years and I still popped pos! I need a big and heavy action plan ASAP. Any advice?

Home test once a week and then you will know what to do.

If you've only smoked once in the last two years you have nothing to worry about. A one-time smoke will generally clear your system in less than a week. I think it highly likely that your positive was a false one. Immunoassay tests are only 99% accurate.

Again I believe I wrote this in my own thread. Personal experience. A friend of mine quit smokeing because of the fear of random on our job. He was clean for 2 years. He then like you took a few pokes. I believe it was half a joint he smoked. this was on a fridaynight. Monday morning Mr. Pee-wee wagon was waiting for him.(timing is everything ayyy). Well anyhow he took the test and passed with no worries. He too is like what you describe. A couch potatoe. Nothing wrong with that. But if you have told us correctly on your past smokeing habits. Man you will be fine. Take another home test in a week.

With fix 4.0 in your pants. Random dosen't stand a chance.

you could try being more active til around right before the time you have to take the test, for safe measure to spark up your metabolism, and besides, being healthy and excersizing wont hurt you at all
good luck, i think youll be fine. ive been smoking almost everyday for probably about two years now and im heavier and short and i know for a fact my metabolism is crap, and im going to have to start applying for jobs by the time i graduate next may, preferably before, so i already have to think about quitting sometime in the next few months..... you know when i get around to it....

I feel better now, but it wasn't a one time smoke it was a "get blitzed with the boys whenever a game was on" type of thing. I can't really quantify how much I smoked, just the time periods before and since. I can say that all in all it wasn't any more than a dub sack that I puffed. Does this change any of your earlier opinions? Thanks again for the input.

The amount you smoked and how long you smoked, does make a difference. But follow Buzzbys advice and what I wrote and you should be ready or prepared, which ever the case may be.
