I would like to know how mods/informed members would characterize levels of usage. for ex would 1/2 eight a week which comes out to 3 bowls a day on average be considered heavy or moderate. It is sometimes hard to understand all these posts because everyone uses their own method of characterizing their usage. thanks

Yea, after reading through the posts on this site, I ran into the same problem.. I did come across some usage chart, but it was done by how many times you smoked, not how much.. I think it makes more sense to organize it by the amount of weed smoked, not the number of times..? Anyways... just a suggestion... Thanks

No expert, but....I think it also has to do with HOW you ingest the smoke. Joint, bong, etc. I believe you get less THC from smoking from joint hits vs. bong hits. This is a tough question....not sure if there's a real answer to this one.

| I'm not sure why you would care if your use was "heavy" or "moderate". If you smoke every day you are a "chronic" user and would always test positive on a urine test. There are no set guidelines for "heavy" or "moderate" use. If one guy smokes two joints of schwag a day and another smokes one bowl of White Widow, who smokes more? The White Widow guy would certainly have more THC metabolites in his system. There are a lot of factors that determine how long until you're no longer carrying enough THC metabolites to test positive on a urine test. 1)How recently you smoked. 2)How much you smoked. 3)How often you smoked. 4)What quality you smoked. 5)Your percentage of body fat. 6)Your metabolic rate. All of these are considerations in estimating how long a person will take to be "clean". On average a daily smoker will take 30 days to be "clean".

Have you seen those Man Law commercials by a certain beer company? This thread reminds me of that. It is a great point. Instead of using ambiguous terms like light, moderate, heavy, etc. one should be more specific and try to answer questions like the questions Buzzby just brought up. This would be much more accurate to those who are reading the posts. I think the only term that most people could agree on would be daily and chronic so try to answer the 4 questions by Buzzby and if you are asking about drug testing include your body fat percentage and metabolic rate. The more accurate info you give the better the answers will be to your questions. Maybe we can call the 4 questions about usage the 4 H's : How much, How often, How recent, and How good. The 4 H's, a MJ law??????
