Does the QuickFix Temp have to be between 90-100 or 97- 100 because I thought the average human temp was between 97-100 don't drug screen labs check for the temp between 97-100 or 90-100. i'm about to use quick fix in a few days and your help would be greatly appreciated. If the quick fix have to be between 90-100 the test would be easy to pass!!!!

Most labs look for a temp of 90-100 within 4 minutes. When I test, I have to be within 92-98 and a level below 20 ng/ml. There are many reasons why urine may not leave the body at 98.6 F that can be explained with physics and human physiology but I am not going to go into most of them. What you do need to realize that most samples will be handed to the tester at slightly lower than 98 degrees because of the time it takes to give it to them as well as the starting temperature of the cup. Unless the room temp at the testing center is 98, the cup should be cooler than your urine and this will lower the temp of the urine. If you have to sub a lot you will learn that it is better to go in a little hot than a little cool. I think the urine sub FAQ thread also addresses this but you can cool it off easier than you can heat it up! My sub sometimes comes out on the high end around 99 or 100 and I just put it on the top of the cold porcelain tank lid of the toilet, get my gear squared away, and by that time it is around 96. You don't want it too high though or it will take too long, longer than the 4 minutes, and they may knock on the door. This has only happened to me once and I was about to open the door anyway so it was no big deal. So to cool it find the coolest, most dense object in the room (there is a paper towel dispenser but it is thin metal not capable of absorbing as much heat as the toilet lid) or blow on it while gently swirling the cup.
