Default Think I am safe?

Here is my deal -

6' 235 excercise 4-5 times a week 1.5 hrs a time heavy cardio and lifting- I do triathlons and just did my lastone 1st of June
Last smoked mid feb
previously had smoked 2-3 times a day for a few months then would quite for 3 months or so then start up again

tested today midday -

did a detox drink two weeks ago just for kicks.

metabolism seems to be about 48hrs in then out - not to be gross but since I train I watch.

Should I be OK? Was a pee test and tested mid day.

Considering all factors, I'd say you would pass. The only way to be sure is to test the first part of the first pee of the day, right before your test.

Thanks buzzby...I already tested so it is too late for a home test. I really hope that the time away and the excercise will be enough - not to mention I drink about 64oz plus of water a day.

IF you last smoked in Mid February, I would say you should pass with no problem.

Thx SEC3...I hope so...I am ready to light up again!!!

After reading a bunch of threads today - great site - lurked before but never posted - I feel a little better. I think I will test in the morning just to make me feel better. And they say smokin makes you paranoid!!!!!!

If you test positive tomorrow with your "at home" test, you will have set a new record with 4-1/2 months abstaining and still testing positive. Personally, I don't think that is going to happen. You will be ok.

I couldn't wait and tested last night. Came back negative within minutes of puting test stick in sample. I know it was not in the morning but I feel better now. Thanks for the KIND words.

I think you should be OK but if you have any doubt use quick fix. I read, and it seems to be the case for me. that the length of time you test positive are overstated. For me 2 weeks usually does it but I understand that can vary. Also since the metabolites are fat soluable I have heard you should stop exercising 2-3 days before testing and eat some high calorie meals to get your body into the mode of storing fat instead of releasing it. Again though for employment testing quick fix is the way to go. I have done it and it's really works OK. These tests DO give false positives you know...
