Hi: I had a pre-employment drug screening this morning. Was schduled yesterday...... so didn't have much time to prepare! I've been smoking a couple of puffs every night for the last few weeks. I'm 5'5" and weigh 125lbs and a female, I'm failry active.... chasing my kids around.
I collected some urine from my 5 year old daughter in a vial and inserted it like a tampon the morning of the test. At the test site, I transferred it to the cup, but it wasn't enough, so I had to pee some myself. The resulting mixture was probably about 1/2 and 1/2. Will this dilution be enough to pass? This is a very good paying job....... I really want and need it. HELP!

My sentiments exactly. I don't give very good odds on this one passing.

Wow, its up in the air, but I would say that all you did was increase your cutoff limit to 100ng, and im sure you had that more than that in your system.... so a fail may be in order. If only you would have diluted....... then i would like your odds.

Still haven't received an answer on the test! I took it last Thursday a.m. They told me I'd have the results in 24 to 48 hours. Is this good or bad? I have training starting Monday, they've already reserved hotel accomodations, and done the background check. I've been on edge waiting on this! Do you think the long wait is a good sign?

Definetly a good sign. the problem is with the holiday. It has messed up everything. The 48 hours they were talking about is 2 business days. Friday and Monday, IF the HR dept worked on Monday. If you haven't heard by today at 5, then tomorrow call the HR dept and ask some trivial question regarding the check in time at the hotel or something stupid like that. That should bet the ball rolling.

still no word on the results! I did email human resources and asked a question about direct deposit for pay.... I emailed yesterday and haven't yet recieved an answer. I'll call today if I don't get a return email this morning.

Just called the hotel to verify reservations and get directions. All is in order there. Would they even notify me of the results?

Just got an answer back from human resources giving me directions from the hotel to the training facility

and saying they'll see me on Monday for training. So........................
