Has anybody been to a Quest Lab in Atlanta where they don't monitor you during the test? A friend of mine went to the one on Windy Hill Road and they didn't have a private bathroom there so he had to use the public bathroom for the entire building. The lady working at the lab stood in the doorway while he was in the stall in order to tell other people that somebody was in the bathroom if they came by. I can go to any lab in Atlanta next week so I would like to know if anybody has been to one that has private bathrooms.

I guess nobody else has tested in Atlanta at Quest. I am going with the substitution method and using dilution as a backup. I feel more comfortable with substitution, so if anybody reads this and knows of a Quest lab in Atlanta that has private bathrooms please reply to this thread.

A Monitor and/or an Observer MUST be the same gender as the donor unless the Monitor is a Medical Profewssional (Nruse, Doctor, PA, Tech (ask for certification for a Tech). Standing outside the closed door preventing people from entering acomplishes the same objective as standing inside the open doorway. Insist that the door be closed and assert your rights to a properly conducted test. Read the "From the Tester" sticky. There are only about 80 posts or so, but you can learn so much about what is allowed and what is forbidden during a collection.

It is not LabCorp that conducted your collection. It was an independent collection facility who then sent your specimen to LabCorp as a service to the employer.

Thanks Sec3. It is nice to get info from somebody on the "other side" of the testing process! I spoke with a friend who took a test at Quest Diagnostics last year and she told me of a place I could go to where they have private bathrooms.
