My wife does the same thing with me when I'm reading some of the post on this website. Sometimes I read them to her, then she understands why. Actually sometimes she looks at me like I'm crazy when I am just sitting here.

I think your wives' (both of you) are just glad you have a pastime and are keeping out of their hair. As long as you are busy and not getting into trouble, just like the kids, your wives will allow you to do what you are doing.

Another story:

I had a kid (18 Year old) come in today with a couple of his co-workers. His co-workers peed in the cup with no problem. it took them each about 30 seconds to fill the cup. this kid also filled the cup and peed about 2-3 minutes longer into the toilet. Yes, I was standing outside the door and his urine stream was so forceful, I couldn't help but hear. His urine was as clear as spring water. When we finished the paperwork and I was explaining to him about how the process works, he was particularly interested in the integrity testing and asked questions like: Will this doctor call me if there is no drugs found but instead it doesn't pass one of those integrity checks?

I answered him, but I'm thinking that he tried the dilution method (or at least tried to dilute with water) and didn't or wasn't able to use any of the ingredients listed in N2's dilution method recipe. He thinks he might receive a diluted result, and so do I.

Don't get me wrong, his was a lab test, so I just packaged it up like all the others and sent it to the lab. the color (or lack of it) didn't make a difference in this case, because I was not using an instant test. His specimen was going to the lab anyway.

If I was using an instant test, I would pay particular attention to the integrity check on the split cup. If it was questionably in the slightest, due to the color, I would be more apt to send it to the lab for confirmation than if it was questionable and had good color.

That is the only reason to have color (yellow, not blue or green) in the urine.
