Hi, im new to the boards, but have been reading a lot of the threads in the past week or so for information about my drug test.

I guess I'll give the jist of what I did to pass the drug test. In the past month, I would go a week without smoking, but then when I would smoke it would be multiple times in 3 day span. That would happen on and off. I smoked on a Wednesday (and smoked about 4-5 big blunts between Monday-Wednesday). I then stopped smoking because I found out I had a drug test the following Monday. I'm 5'6, 130, a pretty fast metabolism, don't exercise too much but I play basketball so you can say I'm skinny, and somewhat active.

What I did for the test was started drinking a lot of water and cranberry juice leading up to it. I got MegaClean simply because my friend whos bigger and a more chronic smoker said it always works for him. They also gave me the pre-cleanse tablets which I finished taking 24 hours before the test. I drank the day before, but my friend said not to drink all night and wake up wasted, so I stopped at like 8:00 at night, and drank a lot of water before I went to sleep. I woke up the next day, ate lightly (a salad) and then started drinking the detox drink a little more than an hour before I went for the test. It made me pee like 3 times before the test and then at the hour mark I took like a huge liquid shit which made me feel like it cleared me out (which my friend said it happened to him too).

I know how people feel about the detoxify drinks on the boards, so that's besides the point because there's nothing I can do about it now. I'm just nervous because my job said he'd get an e-mail in 24 hours, and the lab (Quest) said that they would get the results in 24 to 48 hours. It was the day before July 4th, so I dont know if that is the delay. However, it is Thursday going on to Friday and still no result. If I passed the test, the employer would eventually have to call me to do the rest of the steps in order for me start working, I'm assuming. Does that mean he won't call me if I failed? Or is no news, good news? Would the lab call me immediately if I failed?

I'm just really paranoid that I haven't heard anything yet.

The holiday could be delaying things a bit, but I really don't give you much of a chance in passing. If you werent too diluted, you probably will test positive or both. Only 4-5 days abstinance from very heavy use. Sorry, but that is my opinion.

If you don't pass, and this is for a pre-employment test, you probably will never hear from the employer.
