I took my UA this past thursday. I had been clean for 10 days prior to that. I am a VERY light smoker, I probably smoked once a week if even that sometimes. I got up early, took 4 aspirins, and drank 32oz of water. one hour later I drank a detox drink called vale, and over the next 2 or so hours I drank 20-30oz of water

I urinated 2-3 times after drinking the water(the first time), then I urinated twice after drinking the vale drink. When I took the test it was vitamin yellow. (almost glowing haha)
The lady said 1-2 days for the results to be back. I went back to work Thursday and worked all day Friday without hearing anything. You think I passed, or could I have come up negative dilute because the amount of fluids I drank.

btw, I passed 2 at home tests with VERY VERY faint lines within the 10 day period before the test. But, I really question how accurate those things are since I took one not 3-4 days after I smoked and it came up negative(very faint line)I am 6'4 and weight around 240lbs

If the home tests were showing a negative result, then you should have no worrys, It doesn't sound like you had too much liquids but borderline maybe, you should use sports drinks instead of water.

As for the Vale's there have been some posts on here about it, some passed some failed [I think, slept,relaxed , and ate since then] do a search and look them up.

Well, I made it through another day. I took the test Thursday. Someone told me by law they must contact the person giving the UA before they contact the employer. Any truth to that? I would say one more day and I'm home free, I hope. Thanks for everyones help, this forum is very educational. Keep up the good work.

for a DOT regulated test an MRO must ATTEMPT to contact the donor if an adulterant, diluted result or banned substance is found in the specimen. If after repeated attempts, no response is received by the donor, the MRO may then contact the employer. This is for REGULATED tests.

Most of your pre-employment tests are not regulated. Most employers utilize an MRO service, but some do not.

Well, you all seem very knowledgeable at this place. But, Vales worked for me. I passed my test and I'm good to go. I know it works by dilution, but it does indeed work. But, like you say, you can get the same results for basically free with the methods described here. I had already purchased the Vales before I found this place though.
