| what about the financial/banking industry? The job I got offered told me urine test, but I was just curious anyhow if there was going to be a physical as well. |

| That varies by employer. Not usually for a desk job. Mostly if it is a labor type of job. They want to make sure you won't keel over at the slightest bit if exertion. I can't say for sure that they won't or will, but as a rule of thumb, for DOT regulations you must have a physical, most jobs involving physical labor give physicals. Most white collar jobs, I believe don't give physicals. Note that I said MOST employers. Your best bet is to ask the HR department. Use some excuse like you will need to know if you need to fast for the blood glucose and cholesterol tests. |

| I'm a writer, so I had to get a physical for writing jobs. Such BS. If my employers knew how many things I wrote when I was stoned (at home, of course) that they loved, they probably would have paid for my weed. LOL. |
