Hi I took a pre employment test today after 37 days of not smoking. I started taking take home drug test 3 weeks ago and all of them have tested negative up to yesterday. I was just wondering how am I looking for passing I am a paranoid freak and can't stand this anymore. I need some personal opnions. I got a faint line everytime for the past 3 weeks. I am 5'10" 155-160 pretty fast metabolism, but still got the beer gut.

I have been a chronic smoker for about 6 years even, and stopped 37 days ago cold turkey.

37 days clean and testing negative sounds good. If it's your first void in the morning.

It wasn't my first void of the morning it was random throughout the day...I didn't give them my first of the mornng either.

I think you can stop worrying. For one thing, it does no good what-so-ever; and another thing, I believe you passed.

Congratulations on the being able to go cold turkey like you did. It can be hard, but if that is what you really want, you'll do it.

If you pass a home test with the first void of the day, you should pass the real test. The average person will test clean in approx. 30 days so if you are average you should pass.

Ya i was just curious becuase i am 21 and got offered a job starting at 45k a year and if i screw this up i could never forgive myself for not getting the job just for smokin!

I never tested with one of the home tests in the morning do you think i am still in good standing? I tested usually in the midmaorning and afternoon

Anytime you home test yourself to see how 'dirty' you are, always use the first void of the day. The reason is because the first void contains the greatest amount of toxins. So if you test negative with the first void of the day (regardless of line intensity), you're good to go.

That is, of course, providing that your home test kit and the actual test at the facility share the same cutoff limit.
