My last test was send to the lab It came back with a count of 15 ng/ml, Quest was the lab it was send too, I'm guessing it was a GC/MS because it came back with an actual number count for THC (metabolites?) . Before I can go to work I was told I have to be 0. ng/ml. Can the lab count it down to a single number ?, my Dept. supervisor wants me to take the test as soon as possible, and return to work, but HR says If my next test has any amounts my contract will be terminated. I will take a test in 3 days and I will ask for it sent to the lab so I can have another number to try to figure out it's half-life.

Yes, they can detect very low. It is called the LDL or Lowest Detectable Level, usually no lower than 1ng/mL.

I, too, have a test with Quest, may be a 50 ng or a 20 ng. Now I'm concerned. Although I have been clean for 50 days and have passed all my home tests, do I still stand to fail? This poster did not indicate how long he/she had abstained.

Lolo69, I believe you have no reason to be concerned. You should be clear with the length of time you hve abstained. Especially considering the length of time since you first tested negative on a home test until your "real" test.

Don't look for reasons to panic. You are ok.

I suggested to a poster on the hair test forum to quit reading drug testing post until after their test. They were going to have a friggin' heart attack or stroke worrying for nothing. I suggest this to you also.

Come back with your results and then help others pass their test and stop their worrying.
