Question Today's test at Labcorp was 788730 5+Crt-Bund???

The pre-employment test I just took today was at Labcorp and Chain of Custody form stated it was a "788730 5+Crt-Bund", "708008 PSC Specimen Collection", "708610 Assigned 3rd Party". Any clue as to what that is?? Is this a 50ng cutoff for THC? Can't do a thing about it now, just curious...

PS - Of course (doh!) I could have subbed with the greatest of ease...

I don't have any solid proof but since 5 is a number you see in drug tests that is associated with the 5 SAP term which means 5 Substance Abuse Panel I am guessing you were tested for 5 drugs. CRT might mean creatinine clearance which is a check for dulution. Labcorp uses the term PSC for patient service center so that might mean the PSC. I am going to guess that the 3rd party number might be your employer. I have no clue what cutoff level any of that means but if they tested for only 5 drugs maybe they gave you the 50 ng cutoff level. I am betting that Sec3 will be on here to tell me how wrong I am.

Thanks for the input, your interpretation sounds right. Either way I am in their hands right now. I am hoping it was a 50ng cutoff, I still feel uneasy about the whole thing. I home tested THC & SVT strips before I left and when I came home, both times passing, but with faint lines. My SVT tests were spot on, but I guess we shall see soon enough. My start date is set for this Monday but from what I have read, it seems 3 biz days turn around on the drug screen, so if I hear nothing by Friday, maybe I will be good. Still will not be smoking for a bit longer. Will post results when I get them.

You are wrong JackBauer; I am not going to tell you how wrong you are;
All your explanations sound so logical to me. When I call up the labs, sometimes they are secretive even to me. They aren't very free with this information.

Usually, though the "third party" part is the "third Party Administrator". It could be the employer - or a company like mine hired by the employer to take care of all the nasty little details like finding a local collector, paying for the lab test, MRO, collection fees, scheduling the tests, conducting random draws, etc. The employers like to keep it nice and tidy and pay my company to take care of all that for them. A third party administrator could have thousands of individual employers that they represent.

If it was an employer, it must be a very large employer. Most smaller employers <50 employees, don't maintain an account at a lab for themselves because they cannot get volume discount pricing at the labs.

Sec3 I misread your post and posted a response and now I am editing it. I am not sure what to put instead other than is the search link in your signature new? Maybe TPTB can make using the search feature 5 times manditory after joining before you can post.

It is one of the largest investment banks in the world so I am guessing that they have an account at the lab and would get volume discounts. Anyhow, I will keep y'all posted.

Yep, JackBauer. It is new. I got tired of doing searches for everyone else, so now I just tell 'em to look at the signature. Both of the most important links ever on this site are in my signature. If people read and utilize both of them, there would be a lot less aggravation on here.
