Seems as if my metabolism is very slow at burning out THC. Just got back the results from my last UA that I paid for after of not smoking for 58 days, 20 ng/ml. The test after 38 days of not smoking was 44 ng/ml. That's a half-life of 20 days? Could that mean I'll be at 10 ng/ml after another 20 days? I was passing a home test after 19 days.
Not sure why it's taking so long. I'm in my 40's 5'10 160 lbs. I don't work out but stay active. I was smoking about a gram a day for many years. so it must be soaked in my body fat. I was told I have to have zero nano grams before I can return to work. Since Quest will be doing my test to return, does any one know if when there cut off for the GC/MS is 15 ng/ml do they call that a negative and leave it at that or can a employer ask for a count down to zero ?

An employer can ask for a LDL (lowest detectable level). This is expensive, (about twice the cost of a regular test). The LDL is 1ng/mL.

Hang in there, dude, this too shall end. But it sounds like your job is going to be watching you for a long time, so you just may have to give up smoking weed. You have to decide if it's worth sacrificing your privacy for your job.

Start taking 30 minute walks in the morning or evening to kick start your metabolism and drink lots of liquids.
