I didn't even make it to the drug test!

I worried about it so much I had a major panic attack on the way up to the 2nd interview. It was so bad I had vertigo. I don't remember pulling my car over to the side of the road and I had to get out and throw up.

Called rescheduled for today and they said they'd contact me I know that usually means "Sorry about your bad luck" with this particular company.

I did manage to find another possible employer. Don't know if they test or not, but I'm sure they do, so I'd like to plan ahead instead and clear my system out so I can pass without dilluting or subbing.

Got any tips to help that along other than 'wait', of course.

Sorry to here about your situation. Waiting until your system is clean sounds like a good idea. Check yourself once and a while to see when you are clean.

Live and learn, I guess. I'll probably get a home test or two. I must say I feel a little better since I haven't smoked or been drinking soda pop, but I've been kinda .

It's all in your head, dude. Think of how stress free you will be when you are able to walk into your drug test, knowing that you will pass without diluting or subbing.

Find something else to do to keep your mind off your abstinance. If the company calls to reschedule, don't panic about subbing. Practice now so you're prepared for the next time if you have to sub.

I did have my second interview today. After I completed it they said they'd be in touch. I know from a friend who just got hired that 99% of the time they'll hire you right after and send you for the test.

Not smoking doesn't bother me. I choose to smoke, but its not a priority. My wife smokes still. She can smoke in front of me and I don't crave it. A crash course detox never hurt anybody!

The sadness comes from the stressing out and knowing that it's my own fault. No matter how screwed up it is for companies to invade our privacy, the fact remains that it is an illegal drug and as long as we use it we will run the risk of getting in trouble.

Well, maybe they couldn't get you an appointment at the collection facility today.

Don't beat yourself up over this. Like me, you're probably to honest of a person to lie or cheat, thus your anxiety attack over subbing (cheating) on a drug test.

You're right, it's an invasion of your privacy and no matter what companies tell you, that they assume your clean, you're guilty until proven innocent, which goes against our constitution and basic rights.

Don't be afraid to sub if this is the job you want, or more likely, a job you need. There are other opportunities out there, and another one will come along, but if you're looking, best to abstain while doing so.

It wasn't really a job I wanted, or needed, but I'd take it.

I'd rather have the job I just learned about so if it comes down to it I'll sub if I have to. I believe I'll be cleaned out by then. Then it's on like Donkey Kong
