Default Diet advice

Don't know if I have a test or not, but I stopped smoking just in case. I only smoked twice in four months - that leaves me 15 days from the last time I smoked to the first day of new job - like I said I am not even sure if they will try and test, I have already taken the job.

Question - Along with abstaining, and dilution on the first day that I begin this new job, is their any specific diet that helps "clean" your system of metabolites?

Your smoking has been so infrequent and light, I doubt that you would even have to attempt a dilution. Take a home test and see. Use your first urine of the morning.

A diet that would help you burn stored fat. I can get much more specific but the easiest advice I can give you is to try and only ever eat carbs and protein or fat and protein at the same time. Never eat carbs and fat together. It makes your body go catabolic and start storing fat and burning muscle for energy. Eat meals like a whole wheat turkey breast sandwich for carbs and protein or eggs and ham for fat and protein. Chicken and whole wheat pasta is another good carb/protein meal. Tuna salad is a good fat/protein one. You can eat either or at any time of the day (carbs/protein or fat/protein) but just give a few hours between meals to make sure you're not mixing the nutrients.

Also, on a different note, to get a really good kick start to your metabolism when you wake up drink a big glass of water and go for a 30+ minute walk. However long you can pull off but 30 minutes minimum. This makes a HUGE difference. I mean just walk too. If you run you actually take your body past the point of fat burning and too the point of burning muscle. After your walk wait 30 minutes before eating breakfast.
