I'm curious what is the longest time anybody has been notified of their test results. I took my urinalysis on the 25th of July and still have not heard anything. I see my probation officer once a week. I've seen him 4 times now since the test. I was clean for 58 days prior to the test. Thanks.

If you don't ask, they won't tell. If you ask, that raises suspicion that you may not have been abstinate from using pot.

Why would your PO tell you what you should know already?

Same with employers. I never report to the donor (unless the donor has ordered the test). Just the employer. IF it is a random, and the result is negative, the employer just puts the report in the file drawer and forgets about it. Pre-employment, you get to start work (or remain working).

If the result is positive, that's when you are notified of the results either by being fired or not hired in the first place.

Ok. Does that mean everything is good. I mean my probation officer isn't going to wat 5 weeks to tell me that I was positive, is that correct?

I think you're good to go. If you were positive, you would have heard something. Just quit smoking weed for the duration of your probation. I don't know how long your probation is, but it's not worth smoking weed and risking going to jail. Think of how much jail would suck.

On the very remote chance that you did show up positive, you will find out at your next meeting with your p.o. But when you take your next test in five weeks, you will be clean.

I'm sure others who are in similar situation (probation) will be able to chime in here.
