Did you also take the Rolaids or Tums?

Yup, I chewed a roll of Rolaids on test day about 1.5 hours before I took the actual test, and I took my vitamins. The funniest thing that happened yesterday was that my tongue was dyed bright blue from all the Poweraid (I drank whatever the blue flavor is). I almost made my tongue bleed brushing it before I left for the hospital. That shit is tenacious!

Oh, and I should mention that my "physical" consisted of a vision check (can you read the last line on this chart for me ...), blood pressure and pulse check, filling out a medical history form, and submitting a urine sample (last of course so that I was about to pee myself by the time she handed me the cup). I was hoping to at least find out my cholesterol level ... I don't understand how in this day of Equal Opprtunity Employment and the Americans with Disabilities Act that employers can even give a physical as a condition of employment - it seems they are setting themselves up for discrimination lawsuits from people with actual medical conditions. Fortunately, my only medical condition is a fairly easily rectifiable elevated THC metabolite level

I got a call from HR yesterday saying that my paperwork is ready and I just need to come in and sign. I'm assuming they would not do this until test results are in, so I'm now 99.9% sure that I passed! Which is close enough for me to go have coffee (ahem) with a friend later today!!!!!

THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS for all the good advice, pointers, and just letting me know that I am not alone in this ridiculous invasion of my privacy.

Maybe I can check out the rest of this site now ...
