hello guys. i am (was) a very heavy smoker (about a box of swishers a day) as of about 5 days ago. i was arrested about 3 weeks ago, and still haven't recieved my court date, but believe it is soon. i haven't smoked in a few days (and i regret not just quitting when i got arrested). i am small, lean, but i eat large amounts of food, lots of fatty foods but never gain weight because i have an extremely fast metabolism. what are the odds of passing my drug test with heavy excercise accompained with large sums of water to attempt to sweat it out? it is a supervised drug test (someone watching). is dilution my only hope?

Exercising should be stopped about a week before your test thus slowing the release of toxins. Test your first pee of the day for true results and if you need to read up on the dillution method. Just do not smoke anymore from now until test day because if it has been a month or so since you got busted they would probably expect you to test clean with that much advanced warning. If your court date was right after you got busted then they would expect you to test dirty [if you got busted for weed] the first time.

i worry about dilution because i am going to have to sit through court having to pee so outrageously bad. by the time i get in there (if i can even wait), i will have to pee forever, which will look rather shady. is there a time limit that the dilution period works for your urine?

and it is not possible for me to abstain from working out for a week, due to a weights class in school.

Too bad you can't use your "time of month" excuse for your weights class. Always got me out of swimming in high school (LOL). Certainly you can think of something to get out of your weights class for a few days - hurt your shoulder, sprained your ankle (wrap an ace bandage around it), etc.

I think you said you've abstained for five days so far. Maybe you will catch a break and your court test and pee test will be put off due to a backlog of real criminals that need to be prosecuted, hold prelims, etc.

Anyway, start abstaining now. If your court date comes up soon and you're peeing dirty, talk to the attorney that you're paying good money for. I've had friends with DUIs whose attorneys kept getting continuances because they didn't like certain judges to hear their cases. My friend's attorney kept waiting until he liked the judge that was finally assigned to hear her case.

In addition to DUI, she was found in possession of a joint. Eventually, the possession charges were dropped. She had to blow to start her car for a couple of years, but in all the times she went to see her po, she never had to take a pee test.

Hopefully, your attorney can buy you a pass your first court date. If so, then you need to continue abstaining until you're through with this mess.
