Hi everybody --I'm in a sticky situation and hoping someone can pass on good advice. I'm in the process of looking for a new job and will surely have to take a pre-employment drug test. I have been a regular pot smoker for about 3yrs. I may smoke anywhere from a half to whole joint a day. I'm 5'1 woman, 130lbs and walk/run on occassion (1-2/wk). I stopped smoking for about a week and then smoked half of a skinny. Since then, I've refrained for 3days. What are my chances of returning a clean test within 2 more wks or have i ruined that by smoking the half? Or does the fact that I smoked daily for 3yrs make it hard to pass any test after 30days of abstinence?

It takes the average user 30 days to clean out, although NORML has some studies on its web site that say a couple of weeks.

You don't mention if you have a job lined up yet. Best rule of thumb is to abstain from smoking while you look for a job.

Test yourself in a few weeks. Even though you're an everyday user of a joint of less, from your description, I bet you're okay in a month.
