Thanks to everyone here, especially the resident experts. One can really make some informed choices after studying the posts. I recently landed a great new job and had to take a quick notice pre-employment UA today. I didn't think I would take a chance on dilution so I subbed with QuickFix 4.0. The donation went without a hitch, temperature right on, no suspicions, etc.. They split the sample and are sending it to Clinical Reference Laboratory (CRI) in Lenexa, KS. The test is listed as a P711(9DSP). My questions are these: What is this test? I'm supposing it's a 9 drug screen, but what about the p711? Can I rest assure that Quick Fix will pass these without showing up as something sythetic or strange? Anybody else pass with QF through CRI? Also, why would they currior this 500 miles when they could do a preliminary dip test to establish first sample negatives and be done with it? Guess what I'm really asking is, would you take a chance and indulge over the labor day weekend in confidence, or would you wait until you heard the absolute results from the new employer? (that's of course tricky in itself) Thanks again everyone, glad I found this forum, unless of course the QF doesn't work! I'm an upstanding citizen and almost always do the right thing except an occasional after hours indulgence, it would truly suck if I didn't pass. Ed Asks and Ed is Grateful.

| Here's an informative booklet on drug testing courtesy of Clinical Reference Laboratories. They use a Bayer Advia 2400 machine to screen for positives and then GC/MS to confirm. The Advia 2400 has a capacity of 2400 tests per hour! I'm praying that this machine can't tell the difference between Quick Fix 4.0 and human urine. http://www.crlcorp.com/toxicology/PD...buse-byCRL.pdf Interesting how much volume this company does. Over 10,000 samples per day, over 3,500,000 per year. Damn, it would seem one might have a case for error if they reported a positive. Granted these aren't all drug screens but this lab does some serious testing volume. Somebody please tell me that my QF submission will pass this monstrosity of a testing company with flying colors! | You know, Ed, that CRL is not by far the largest laboratory in the country doing employer based drug testing. LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics, MedTox and Kroll laboratories all have a higher volume than CRL. |

You're help on this board is a huge asset. Hard to believe that some of the knuckleheads dog you a little. Looking at those numbers I was blown away. How the heck do they not end up with frequent errors, and things like the wrong person's results? The numbers must be astounding from even larger labs. Imagine sorting the overnight shipments. Thanks for you contribution, I also appreciate people's frank advice for those in the legal system, and no help for the underaged. Things discussed here should be enjoyed in moderation and on free time. But, you didn't answer the reason I didn't sleep last night. Will QF 4.0 get through this lab without problems? Ed

Ed, if they were only using the Urine Snoop 9000 double x, you would be in better shape! Just kidding! I know I know, I just broke my policy on not making jokes in the drug testing forum but I couldn't resist. You would not believe how many people pass using quick fix. That stuff is great and so far I have never heard of it failing anyone. Quick Fix constantly reformulates their product to keep up with the evil bladder cops and their tools of doom. I would be absolutely shocked if you didn't pass using QF. I looked on the lab's website to see what the number p711 meant and I found p710 for a 10 panel test but not p711. I would relax and enjoy knowing you beat their high priced machine with fake urine. There is a reason why some states have outlawed the shipping of fake urine and that is because it works.

Fake Boobs really does know how to crack a joke!!! There are precautions put in place so mix-ups don't happen. They have a seal on the vials with a number and a bar code matching the number and bar code on the testing form. The collectors have been trained on how to properly conduct collections and how to document collections. Sure, sometimes a specimen is destroyed in transit, but then (for DOT, at least) there is the option of not re-testing and considering a destroyed specimen a negative result. It really is quite difficult to "lose" a specimen, but it does happen rarely. Your quick fix will pass.

Actually that was pretty funny. I guess I looked at their website and thought "Oh my God, my fake piss is going to the ultimate piss whiffing machine. Now I'm ****** for sure!" Strange thing is I left the collection site feeling relief and calm yesterday, and then within a couple of hours the anxiety set it again. I'm the kind of guy that anaylizes everything to death.(as is evidenced by the reference to the million dollar testing machine, that's right folks the Advia 2400!) I read hundreds of posts searched them all, and couldn't find a single fail on QF. So, I guess I already knew the likely answer, but it's torture to sit here and wait with such a big life event on the line, and then if it's a pass, they won't likely bother to tell me. I feel everyone's pain now. But, there must be some humor found in it and fakeboobs nailed it. I will however post my results and then officially join the sub club. thanks guys and girls.

I will now get on my knees to thank this forum and particularly Sec3, Imn2, fakeboobs, and others that I will forget to mention. I passed! QF 4.0 baby! Again, I say if you can read, have a decent brain, and can descern BS from not, you will find your own way to pass with the great info in this forum. For me, as long as I know it's not observed I'll probably always sub, like the club. Tonight, chicken dinner. Ed, Looks Forward to Contributing
