I got my paperwork to go for my pre-employment drug test. I'm fairly certain its a quest test. The type of test requested is a Profile 1 / 5-Panel. What type of test is this and what is the threshold? I haven't smoked regularly in 9m months but once several months ago I had 1 hit and again about 4 weeks agao I had another small hit. I'm 145 lb and will need to take the test in next several days. Should I be worried at all?

You will pass any drug test they give you with your usage history.

I didn't think I had any worries but I thought I would throw it out there just in case. It has been a looong nine months but it's taken me that long to find a job after a layoff. I'm looking forward to passing this test, getting my job and enjoying some smoke again.

I'm still wondering if anyone can give me any deatails about the type of test I'm taking. I've taken them before and I can usually tell what the threshold is but the way the test is listed I don't see anything that suggests the ng threshold?

Profile 1 - 5 panel usually means a regular DOT equivalent 5 panel test w/ 50 cutoff for THC

I just wanted to provide an update that I passed not only one test put two. I was offered one job, got tested and that day I got another offer which I accepted and had to take another test. Funny thing is that I just a got another even better job offer that I accepted and this employer doesn't do pre-employment testing! Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that I passed so that anyone in a similar situation can see my results. I'm still going to stay clean till I'm clearly hired for a weeks before I go making my urine dirty. If I waited this long, a few more weeks won't hurt.

While you are clean, you might want to freeze some of your urine in a double sealed, airtight container. It will keep for about a year, frozen. That way, if your company does decide to test, or you get yet another even better job offer, you are prepared.
