Have to go in today for a pre-employment physical and drug screen. I've been reading up on these boards for about a month or so now, and I just wanna thank you all for the great info. I would have subbed, but since there is a physical, I absolutely could not take the chance of being caught, so I'mgoing with dilution. I'm 98% confident I will pass, I have been clean for a while, but just for reference here's my stats.

Hieght: 6' 0"
Weight: approx 155 lbs
Metabolism: faster than average
Activity level: Lazy bastard
Usage: Daliy smoker, usually a few bowls a day, of reg to mid grade for quite a while.
Clean for: 57 Days
Method: Dilution

I've known about this job since early July and went to a 3 week long class as training, which ended early August. I basically finished off the pot I had left after I heard and haven't picked it up since. HR dragged their feet a little bit in the hiring proccess, but assuming I pass, I start on the 11th. I have taken 3 at home tests during this time, all top o' the morning, top o' the stream. The first one, 37 days clean resulted in an extremely faint line for negative. I hadto hold the thing up at a weird angle in thelight just to see it. The second, 44 days clean, produced another very faint negative line. And the last one, 52 days clean produced a much more visible line, although still definately lighter than the control. I have another I will take just before I leave to give me added confidence. A lot of you would say I'm good to go now, and I probably am, but this is my dream job and my first in the field I got my degree in. I'm just paranoid, and want to be as certain as possible on this.

My test is at 10:15 AM at a local hospital's occupational therapy building. Not really sure what type of test it will be other than a UA. Since this is at a hospital, and I know the company can afford the GC/MS, I don't wanna take any risks. I have been taking creatine supplements off and on for the pastcouple of weeks because I didn't know exactly when the test would beuntil Thursday and wanted to be prepared. I did load upthe day before yesterday, but not sure on the dosage I took during the day. I got up about 6:30 this morning, at a bowl of Coco Puffs, and had a 12 oz. can of Coke. I also took 4 aspirin (325 mg ea.). I am currently working on my second glass of Gatorade, and I am taking 2 salt tablets (500 mg ea.) with each glass, which is much better than just mixing in the salt and ruining the taste. I plan on doing this pretty much until it is time to go. I also have some Dannon Frusion smoothies and I'll have a few of those for the calcium and other vitamins/minerals, and because they are yummy. I'll probably take another 3-4aspirin at about two hours before the test, and I have some Vitamin B12 supplements also. I know it's not B2, but my wife did the shopping, and I may go out a little later and get the B2 and some Red Bull.

I'm thinking with as many days as I've been clean, previous test results, and taking steps for insurance I'll be ready to pass with flying colors today. Thanks again for all the great info, and I'll keep ya posted on the progress/results.

EDIT: Just took my last home test and came up ngative again! Test line was about half as dark as control line, but was most assuredly there. Never did go get that B2, taken a few B12, but my piss was still a faint yellow color. Time to get dressed, finish my smoothie (30% DV of B2 and I've had 2 this AM), down another Gatorade and hit the road.

UA and Physical went off without a hitch. I could have even subbed if I wanted to, but like I said I didn't wanna take that chance. They had me strip to my socks and boxers then put on a hospital gown. The doctor even left the room while I did this, so a crotched condom/bottle would have went by undetected. The test was unobserved as I figured it would be. Pissed a little in the toilet first, then the cup, then finished in the toilet. My piss was fairly clear, but had a faint yellow tinge to it, just like drinking a healthy but not excessive amount of water. The doctor took my sample afterwards, poured some into a plastic sample collection thingy, sealed it and had me sign my papers. The physical part came last, which was just an eye exam, blood pressure, breathing, etc. No hernea or prostate check, thank goodness. In and out in 30 minutes.

I never did see anything saying what type of test it was, but I didn't read the entirety of the form I had to sign either. My mom works at the same hospital chain where I took the test, so I may ask her back-handedly about it tonight. I feel pretty good about it, especially when my wife told me that the test line on pregnancy tests are pretty much always fainter than the control line. Makes sense now that I think about it. They sent my specimen to the lab, and my results will be faxed to my new employer tomorrow. Will post the final results as soon as I find out.
