I just got back from taking a DOT drug test. I subbed using Quick Fixx. After much practice keeping the temp right, today was the day where I had to put it to use. I did everything according to plan as to keeping the temp right and got to the test site and my quick fixx was exactly 100 degrees. Well, I went in to take the test and not to my knowledge they had some orientation BS that I had to sit through. I was sitting there for an hour and a half before I went into the bathroom. When I pourd my Quick Fixx in it only registered 94 degrees. It fell between the required 90- 100 degrees but here is the catch. The nurse wrote in the "remark box" that the temp was 94 degrees. I was wondering if that is gonna wave any flags when they test the Quick Fixx or do I have nothing to worry about?

Nothing to worry about. The temp must be between 90 - 100 degrees within 4 minutes of the void. Yours did. I don't know why she bothered to write in the exact temp. There is a little box provided to just "X" if the temp was ok. Writing the exact temp in the "remarks" line is unnecessary. At any rate, your specimen was within range, so no worries. Just don't perform your safety sensitive job while under the influence of pot. (please).
