Ok so I applied for a job and they test. I have been reading threads throughout the day. I am a little confused on this whole diluation process. I have been pretty much and every day smoker for about 3-4 years now. I know that I have to stop smoking and that is fine with me as long as i get the job then I will see if they continue to drug test and if not i will be back at it. I love to smoke its a hobby. My question is? I quit smoking and i want to know what is the best way to go about this diluation process and how long does it last. I have been drinking a butt load of water and peeing about every 20-30 mins. What is the best way and the most effective weigh to go about this. I weigh about 180-190lbs. Please help, advice would be great. Thanks.

You don't mention when your test is. It's also not clear from your post if you have stopped smoking or are planning to stop soon. And when you post back, some information about your body type, weight, metabolism, etc. will also help.

If your test in the next few days, then I think subbing is in order. From reading the posts, I don't think you can successfully dilute unless you have abstained from smoking for several weeks. You can try, but my educated guess is that you are taking a risk.

I suggest you read up and practice on subbing, under the sub sticky. Find a clean donor or go out and buy some Quick Fix 4.0 synthetic urine. Most pre-employ tests are not observed, and I guess that your's won't be either.

If you have time before your test and can abstain, 30 days of abstinance is the rule of thumb before the average person can start testing clean on a urine test. Buy some home tests to gauge your progress.

In addition to your weight, we need your height so we can tell if you are average, skinny, or obese. For the dilution method to work, if you are an every day smoker, you will need at least a few days of abstinence. A home drug test would be great too. Dilution works by diluting the THC metabolites in the urine long enough that you will fall below the threshold. It doesn't wash you out or speed up the clearance of THC from your body. It seems like you are a little confused about that because you ask how long it works. Once you start the process there is a little "maintenance" involved because as you take in the fluids your body gets rid of them so you have to replace it loss with intake. If you do that you can keep it up for the whole day. Doing days in advance will not help though. See the thread by Nerphroll in my signature. So you drink a big loading dose of 48-128 ounces of fluid depending on how much dilution you need and which method you follow. Too much can lead to a negative dilute result and some employers will consider this a fail so be advised. Then the supplements like the B-2 and Rolaids and salty foods are to help fool the test into thinking you did not dilute. The aspirin will help fool one particular test if you are lucky enough for them to use the EMIT test. You might not know so take the aspirin to be prepared. Sports drinks are preferred too. Read so more and ask some more specific questions later.
